The Fulton County Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities is currently recruiting for the following positions:  

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CLINICIAN I

The Department is seeking a licensed clinician with a CACII, is desired.  The candidate must ave a substance abuse and mental health background.  This individual will manage clients living with mental health and substance abuse issues.

The candidate that we select will develop treatment plans; provide individual, group, and family therapy; coordinate client and case management services; provide provisional diagnosis; participate in treatment team meetings; and attend Juvenile Court weekly.  Candidates selected for this position must be willing to work from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM Monday thru Friday, and every other Saturday. This is a full-time temporary position.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN

Qualifications: Master's Degree and/or CACI preferred.  The preferred candidate will have a history of working with children and youth with substance abuse issues.  This individual will complete In-Take Assessments, provide case management, transportation assistance, and mentoring.  You will facilitate groups, refer clients to community agencies and resources as appropriate.  This is a full-time temporary position.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CLINICIAN II

Qualifications: The Department is seeking a fully licensed LCSW or LPC with a mental health background.  The person selected will provide services to mental health and/or substance abuse individuals.  They will conduct comprehensive  assessments, assist individuals in developing treatment plans and monitor individuals progress.  

The person will give provisional diagnosis from the DSM-V, participate in treatment team meetings, and provide individual and group therapy.  In addition, the candidate must be experienced with providing clinical consultations on complex cases.  The work schedule for this position is Monday thru Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
