Fulton County Youth Commissioners
The Fulton County Youth Commission is a leadership and community service program that encourages rising ninth, tenth, and eleventh graders to become involved in human services from a local government perspective. The Youth Commission explores various problems and social barriers that are most pertinent to children, youth and families in Fulton County and identify the best possible solutions. Program participants coordinate, facilitate and advocate for community initiatives focused on positively changing issues such as violence, health, education, environment and much more. Additionally, the Youth Commission provides the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, public officials and non-profit organizations with their findings and social service recommendations.
