Aldredge Health Center Immunization and WIC Services Moving
Effective September 12, 2009, Immunization and WIC Services being offered at the Aldredge Health Center located at 99 Jesse Hill Jr. Dr., Atlanta will move to the Neighborhood Union Health Center located at 186 Sunset Avenue in Atlanta. Health Center clients will have access to more services at the new location.
Public Works to Hold Information Open House for Butner Road over Camp Creek Bridge Replacement
Fulton County Department of Public Works and the design consultant, Fulton Transportation Constructors (FTC) will hold a Public Information Open House on September 10, 2009, at the Fulton County Public Safety Training Center at 3025 Merk Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30349, between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The purpose of this Open House is to provide the public with an opportunity to view and comment on the proposed project.
Dog Tethering Prohibited in Fulton County Beginning September 4
Residents who chain or tether dogs to fixed objects while they are unattended must find an alternative means of restraining their pets beginning September 4, 2009. In March, the Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to ban the practice of chaining or tethering dogs. District 2, At-Large Commissioner Robb Pitts sponsored the resolution.
