Welcome All Park to Host Ribbon Cutting Unveiling New Playground Equipment and Newly Renovated Basketball Courts Courtesy of the Atlanta Hawks | Print |

On Friday, July 24, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Fulton County Parks and Recreation will unveil new state-of-the-art playground equipment at Welcome All Park.   The new equipment is the first installation of 6 planned for Fulton County’s Parks and is part of the 2015 budget where 363,000 dollars in funds were approved for these upgrades by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners.

Fulton County Decreases 2015 Millage Rate | Print |

By a 5 to 2 vote, The Fulton County Board of Commissioners adopted a 2015 General Fund millage rate of 10.5 mills.  The vote approves a cut of approximately 10.9% to the General Fund property tax rate from the 2014 rate of 11.781 mills.  This cut will take effect with the 2015 tax bills.  Those bills are scheduled to go out in August of this year.

Fulton County is conducting a Special Election for the House District  48 & 80  and a Special Runoff Election for House District  55 today. Polls will remain open until 7 p.m. in all locations. Results will be available here after polls close. One Poll Location Change for July 14th in HD 48 Special Election | Print |

Residents urged to verify polling locations prior to Election Day

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections will be required to change one (1) polling location for the Tuesday, July 14, 2015 House District 48 Special Election. All affected voters will be notified of the change in location by first-class mail. Concerned residents are urged to check on-line to find out if the change would affect their poll on Election Day.
