Fulton Juvenile Court Opens Permanency Center to Serve Recovering Drug Abusers and Their Families
Fulton County Juvenile Court Chief Judge Belinda E. Edwards (left) celebrates the opening of the Juvenile Justice Fund’s new Permanency Center. The Center provides a “homelike” environment for children as they visit the court for hearings, family counseling or other services.
The Fulton County Department of Public Works has submitted a modification to the Providence Park corrective action plan to the Georgia Environmental Protection Division. The modification includes the addition of two extraction wells and an extension of the operation and quarterly testing of the groundwater treatment system for an additional nine to twelve months.
