In response to inquiries from citizens, Fulton County has received an update regarding service delivery at Northside Hospital Behavioral Health Center from Mr. Jim Newton, Manager of Behavioral Health Services at Northside. Mr. Newton has assured the County that there has been no decision made by Northside to change behavioral health service delivery options. The services provided through the VISTA program are expected to continue.

Despite the morning clouds and a chance of rain, South Fulton residents came out in numbers Saturday, May 22, 2010 to the First Annual Pet Adoption Festival at Canine Crossing.¬† The event was sponsored by FultonCountyParks and Recreation along with Fulton County Animal Control Services.
Fulton County Fights Smog With ‚ÄúNo Idling‚ÄĚ Policy As metro Atlanta‚Äôs annual smog season begins, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners is taking steps to reduce air pollution from county vehicles. The Board recently¬†adopted a ‚Äúno idling‚ÄĚ policy that directs drivers of Fulton County‚Äôs fleet vehicles to turn off their engines , instead of allowing them to idle.¬†
At its January 20 meeting, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners (BOC) approved the FY2010 General Fund Final Budget.¬† The BOC affirmed its commitment to Fulton County citizens and, for the fourth year in a row, did not raise the millage rate.
