Fulton County Department of Public Works and the design consultant, Fulton Transportation Constructors (FTC) will hold a Public Information Open House on September 10, 2009, at the Fulton County Public Safety Training Center at 3025 Merk Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30349, between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The purpose of this Open House is to provide the public with an opportunity to view and comment on the proposed project.

The proposed bridge replacement begins at the intersection of Camp Creek Parkway/Butner Road and ends 780 feet south of that intersection along Butner Road. The proposed roadway/bridge will have two12-feet lanes with improved shoulders with 12-feet sidewalk on the west and 6 feet sidewalk on the east. The roadway travel lanes will be tapered to meet the existing roadway width at each end of the project.

Written statements will be accepted concerning this project until September 24, 2009, and may be submitted to the County’s design consultant at:
