Michael L. Cuffee is a veteran court executive with more than 12 years of extensive criminal justice leadership and management experience. Michael is a graduate of Georgia Military College (GMC) in Milledgeville, Georgia, where he received a full scholarship and obtained an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts Studies. Michael is also a graduate of Savannah State University, a Historically Black College and University located in Savannah, Georgia, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a concentration in Radio and Television. He also received Teacher Certification in Special Education K-12. Michael also obtained a Master of Arts in Leadership and Management from Shorter University in Rome, Georgia, and is a certified Georgia Court Administrator through the Council of Georgia Court Administrators.

Recently, before returning to Georgia to join the administration of Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Wills, Michael served as Director of Judicial Operations for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Courts of Illinois. Michael returns to Fulton County, having held executive court leadership for the Superior Court of Fulton County as the Fifth District Court Administrator for the Atlanta Judicial Circuit / Chief Deputy Court Administrator. In this position, Michael was responsible for the leadership and management of the court's administrative operations. This responsibility included the following divisions; the Finance Office, Human Resource, Facilities, and Court Scheduling, Law Library, Information Technology, Floating Court Reporters, Floating Judicial Assistants, Jury Services, Court Security, Public Information Office, Court Interpreters, International Judges in Training, and the Accountability Courts that provided Drug, Mental Health, and Veterans services.

Michael has also held the post of Court Administrator for the Dekalb County Juvenile Court, Coordinator of Pre-trial Intervention for the Clayton County District Attorney's Office, and Coordinator of Program Services and Development for the Clayton County Juvenile Court. Michael also served as Interim Chief of Staff for the inaugural City of South Fulton, and he is a former educator and consultant. Michael is widely known as a skilled communications/social media professional and regularly speaks locally and nationally on leadership and management topics.

Michael is a member of the National Association of Court Management, the Council of Georgia Court Administrators, the National Association of Chief Judges and Court Executives, a Life Member of the Savannah State University National Alumni Association, and a proud member of the Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc.
