The Fulton County District Attorney's Office is hosting the Fulton County Prevention and Peace Summit on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Frederick Douglass High School, 255 Hamilton E. Holmes Dr. NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. This important event focuses on community violence prevention with workshops covering gang prevention, youth violence, human trafficking, decision-making, and more. There will be specialized sessions for both youth and parents, along with panel discussions on topics like parenting after trauma and LGBTQ+ biases.
Attendees can also explore the Job and Resource Fair featuring nearly 40 vendors, including Kaiser’s Mobile Health Vehicle offering free health screenings and Grady Hospital’s Stop the Bleed Hands-On Training.
