While all staff members have contributed in their areas to aid one another and our community, a nurse from NaphCare put herself at risk early on by volunteering to work with the COVID-19 patients providing them with excellent care and continuity during a time of isolation and fear.
The Sheriff’s Office is responsible for administration and operation of the Fulton County Jail, providing security for all Courtrooms and Judges, and providing Warrant Service/Civil Process, Special Operations and Investigative Units. The Sheriff also conducts Delinquent Property Tax Sales.

Lieutenant Colonel Shawn L. Jones became the Commander of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Division in 2017. In December of 2016, Colonel Jones retired as an Assistant Chief with the Atlanta Police Department after 30 years of distinguished service.
