Absentee Voting
Attention Voters! If you have NOT received your ballot within 7-10 days after it was mailed, we urge you to take action. Your voice matters, and we want to ensure every eligible voter can participate in the upcoming election.
Here's what you need to do:
Check Your Ballot Status: To track the status of your mailed ballot, you can conveniently check your “issue date” on the Secretary of State’s My Voter Page. This will allow you to monitor when your ballot was mailed and/or acceptance status, ensuring transparency and peace of mind throughout the process.
Sign up for Ballot Tracking Notifications: Once logged into the Secretary of State’s My Voter Page, scroll down to the “Absentee Ballot Portal" section you will see the question "Subscribe to notifications about the status of my ballot? " select “Yes" and choose at least one of the three methods of communication, which are Text, Phone Call (Voice), and/or Email.
Contact Us: If your ballot has not arrived within 7-10 days of being mailed, please reach out to us immediately. We're here to assist you and ensure you receive your ballot in time to cast your vote.
Vote in Person if Necessary: You still have the opportunity to exercise your right to vote by going to a Fulton County Advance Voting location or to your designated polling place on Election Day. You can find your designated Election Day polling site at the Secretary of State My Voter Page.

Will I automatically receive an absentee by mail ballot for a possible runoff election? It depends.
Absentee ballots are not always automatically mailed for runoff elections or for all elections within the calendar year. Automatic rollover depends on the following:
1. Whether the voter meets the ballot request opt-in criteria;
2. Whether the voter completes the opt-in section on the absentee ballot application;
3. Whether the voter submits their application by the required deadline, see Election Key Dates; and
4. The type of election.
If these requirements are not met, a voter must submit a new absentee application to receive a runoff ballot and, for all other elections, submit a separate application for the calendar year.
Ballot Request Opt-In Requirements
Voters who qualify must complete the designated opt-in section, example below, on the absentee ballot application.

Applications must be received by the Fulton County Department of Registration & Elections by the absentee ballot request deadline for that election, see Election Key Dates.
Automatic rollover also depends on the type of election. Please see categories below:

| Special Elections | Primary Election Runoffs |
