Marshals Jr Deputy Program

The Marshal’s Junior Deputy Program assists students with developing life skills, promotes good citizenship, and teaches leadership skills. Students will also get a firsthand look into law enforcement careers. The annual program runs for one week in July.  

2024 Junior Deputy Program

The 2024 Junior Deputy Program will run from July 8-12. Applications are now open and must be submitted by the close of business Friday, June 28, 2024. Applications can be requested by contacting Sgt. M. Hadley at mekeal.hadley@fultoncountyga.gov or 404-612-4462.

Requirements

• Must be between 12 to 16-years-old.
• Be a resident of Fulton County, have a family member who is an employee of Fulton County, or attend a Fulton County School.
• Complete a one-page essay. The topic is included in the application.
• Submit a letter of recommendation from a school administrator.
• Be of good moral character without having any arrests or convictions records for serious offenses. (Including crimes specifically applied to detainment.)
