Michelle Vialet has over twenty years of experience serving the residents of Fulton County, Georgia. As the Program Manager for WorkSource Fulton, she is responsible for the Program Design and Administration of County Youth General Fund dollars and Youth WIOA funds.
Mrs. Vialet was responsible for the opening of the first stand-alone at-risk youth center in the state of Georgia in 2005. Recommendations for such centers are now included in the proposed WIOA regulations listed as best practices. She created and implemented The Summer Youth Internship Program (SYIP) thru the county general fund as part of the county’s high crime initiative, which served youth who lived in high crime zones. The program gained national recognition and earned the county the 2018 NACo Award. The Fulton County Board of Commissioners recognized the program with a proclamation in August of 2018.
