District 5 Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington Jr. is encouraging young writers to hone their craft. The Commissioner will host the Write 2 Rise Workshops in July.

The series of workshops promise to foster young writers to develop enthusiasm for and expertise in their literary works, and to provide a context to celebrate their writing successes.

Interested participants will have the opportunity to participate in any of the 3 workshops at the Wolf Creek Library located at 3100 Enon Road in Atlanta.

• Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
