Emily Bell

Dr. Bell is a 27-year Georgia educator certified and experienced in all K-12 grade levels who plans and implements innovative technology strategies for optimal productivity and increased student achievement.  Her education includes an Education Doctorate in Leadership from Valdosta State University; a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from Valdosta State University; and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education from Florida State University. 


As the current Chief Information Officer for Fulton County Schools, she supports the seamless, stable, and secure use of reliable network equipment, enterprise platforms, and data visualizations to facilitate the strategic goals and objectives of the district.   In this capacity, she must understand, plan, develop, and lead initiatives that are scalable, sustainable, and protected for over 90,000 students, 14,000 staff members, and 100 buildings.   


Other leadership positions include national IMS Global K-12 Institutional Leadership Board; Microsoft K-12 Advisory Board member; and state president of the Georgia Association for Managers in Education Systems.
