Further to that mission is working with you in compliance efforts with laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and CMMC among others. I also assist high profile individuals, families, and family offices to maintain their personal privacy in today's digital world.

I am also known for my efforts in life sciences, artificial intelligence, technology, and economic development. Additionally, I work with families and family businesses in the areas of legacy planning, philanthropy, stewardship and succession.

I am on the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Board of Directors where I co-chair the TAG Social Justice Task Force with an emphasis on spearheading efforts with respect increasing diversity and inclusion in the Georgia technology arena. I also chair the Board of the Information Security Society for TAG. I am on the Advisory Board for the National Technology Security Coalition. I was named to the City of Atlanta's CIO Advisory Board and was recently honored by the State of Georgia House of Representatives for my work in cybersecurity, particularly on behalf of state and local governments and governmental agencies.

I am on the Georgia Defense Industrial Base Task Force Board. The GDIB Task Force is a collaboration between the Georgia Department of Economic Development and the Technology Association of Georgia, and assists Georgia businesses with cybersecurity issues with respect to the U.S. Department of Defense supply chain.
Named a “Cyber-Security Visionary” by USBE Magazine, I was also named one of Georgia's "Most Powerful and Influential Lawyers"; and was recognized by Legal 500 for my work in M&A and by Savoy Magazine as a “Top 100” lawyer. I was named a “Game Changer” in Information Security by HUB Magazine and was recently named a 2020 Georgia Trailblazer by ALM Media and Law.com.

I was also recently named a “2021 Cybersecurity Leader” by Security magazine.
I served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corp. Secretary of AirGate PCS. Prior to AirGate, I was VP, GC, and Chief Privacy Officer of WorldTravel BTI and also worked with Turner Entertainment/Time Warner and MCI. Additionally, I acted as Special Counsel to the President of The American Bar Association and served as a special assistant attorney general for the state of Georgia. I have also served as diversity and inclusion practice chair in the legal sector.

I am on the University of Georgia Board of Visitors. I am also active in the community and am an Eagle Scout.
