Raymond X. Baez, Sr. is 35 years of age and originally from Puerto Rico. However, Georgia has been his home for the past 14 years. In his free time, Raymond enjoys playing basketball, paintball, traveling, and spending quality family time. Raymond also enjoys coaching his son’s baseball and basketball teams and participating in their extracurricular activities.
Raymond has earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Science and has over 11 years of experience working in a law enforcement capacity. He has held the positions of State Felony Probation Officer, Atlanta Police Officer, EEO Investigator, and is currently the Assistant Chief Investigator of the Anti-Corruption Unit in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office (FCDA). Raymond’s training and expertise include but are not limited to Title VI and Title VII investigations, complex criminal investigations, homicide investigations, and internal affairs investigations. He has been employed with the FCDA since February 2018 and has worked in The Major Case Unit and Public Integrity Unit. Raymond values integrity, hard work, commitment, humbleness, and believes everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of their status.
