She holds a Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law, bringing a well-rounded perspective to her work in law, policy, and advocacy.
Audrey began her career in the office of Congressman John Lewis, where she learned firsthand the power of policymaking combined with unwavering advocacy. Working alongside Congressman Lewis, she developed a deep understanding of how legislative action and grassroots movements intersect to drive meaningful change. This experience instilled in her a lifelong commitment to protecting democracy, ensuring equitable access to the ballot, and championing policies that uplift marginalized communities.
Building on this foundation, Audrey has worked extensively in election protection, research, and progressive advocacy. As a Voter Protection and Legal Fellow at Fair Fight, she played a critical role in documenting voter suppression following the 2018 election and supporting legal strategies to safeguard voting rights. She later served as the Research Director at Progress Georgia, where she led investigative and policy research to support progressive campaigns, track legislative developments, and provide strategic insights for advocacy efforts. Throughout her career, she has worked with various nonprofits dedicated to social justice, democracy, and policy reform, using her expertise in legal research and policy analysis to drive systemic change.
