The Fulton County Pets of the Week initiative, in partnership with the Fulton County Animal Services Facility, is a dedicated effort designed to promote pet adoption and enhance awareness of the animals seeking forever homes. This initiative serves a dual purpose: not only does it highlight specific pets each week, but it also fosters a deeper understanding of the responsibilities and joys associated with pet ownership.
By featuring a diverse array of pets- from playful puppies to mature dogs and affectionate cats—the initiative showcases each animal's unique personalities and qualities, making it easier for individuals and families to envision their future companions.
There’s no better time to find your purr-fect companion! This May, LifeLine Animal Project is celebrating Spring Adoption Month with a special offer $25 pet adoptions all month long! When you adopt, the $25 adoption fee includes everything your new best friend needs to start their new life. Each adoption covers spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and a microchip for identification. It’s the perfect time to find the pet that’s been waiting for you.

Meet Peggy, a sweet, 1-year-old pup weighing about 37 pounds, and she’s ready to find her forever home.
She loves her toys and enjoys playing fetch and tug-of-war. While she has a playful side, Peggy is also a calm, medium-energy dog who’s happy to relax after some fun. She walks well on a leash and enjoys exploring at a gentle pace.
In a playgroup, Peggy showed friendly interest in other female dogs. Though not overly playful, she remained calm and non-reactive, suggesting she could live peacefully with a respectful canine companion.
Peggy is a wonderful mix of playful and mellow, and she’s sure to bring love and joy to her new home.
