Pet of the Week
Pet of the Week
The Fulton County Pets of the Week initiative, in partnership with the Fulton County Animal Services Facility, is a dedicated effort designed to promote pet adoption and enhance awareness of the animals seeking forever homes. This initiative serves a dual purpose: not only does it highlight specific pets each week, but it also fosters a deeper understanding of the responsibilities and joys associated with pet ownership.
By featuring a diverse array of pets- from playful puppies to mature dogs and affectionate cats—the initiative showcases each animal's unique personalities and qualities, making it easier for individuals and families to envision their future companions.
There’s no better time to find your purr-fect companion! From Friday, November 28, through Sunday, December 7, all adoptions from Fulton County Animal Services will be free! That goes for all dogs and cats in the shelter and those currently in foster homes. Check out the hundreds available at www.fultonanimalservices.com/adopt.
Shelter adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

Meet Vicky, a 6-year-old, 40-pound sweetheart with a calm and gentle nature and a heart full of love. She is low energy and easygoing, making her the perfect companion for relaxed strolls, light playtime, or cozy evenings curled up on the couch.
Her silly, lovable personality shines when she is getting attention — she is always ready for pets, belly rubs, or snuggles, and she hops into the car like a seasoned pro. She walks nicely on a leash and is very food motivated, making training fun and rewarding.
You can stop by Fulton County Animal Services any day of the week to meet Vicky and hundreds of other adoptable dogs and cats. Our address is 1251 Fulton Industrial Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30336. For more information about one of our pets, email adoptions@fultonanimalservices.com or call 404.613.0357.
Trevor is a handsome young pup who's done well interacting with other dogs and seems comfortable around different personalities. Trevor knows "sit" like a pro and takes treats gently from your hand. He walks nicely on leash, only pulling a bit when something interesting catches his nose. While he enjoys being pet, Trevor isn't overly affectionate - he's an independent kind of guy who likes companionship without being clingy.
