In this class, you will learn how to create a block pattern project utilizing hand and/or machine quilting techniques, along with exploring the culture and history behind the craft. This class serves as an excellent opportunity to learn and enhance your skills.
Pre-requisite: Students must have some experience with quilting and know how to use needle and thread. Sewing machine is optional.
Supplies: Sewing needles, thread, scissors, snippers, cotton fabric fat quarters, fabric scraps, and batting.

Intermediate Piano (New and Returning Students), Ages 10 - Senior (Online)

This class is for the older intermediate student, not a beginner with high aptitude, knowledge, and proficiency playing the piano and would like to continue to practice increasing their proficiency. In this fast-paced class, students will learn to play major scales, theory, techniques, reading, and composing music that will introduce chord progressions and scales to their piano aptitude.
Pre-Pre-Requisite: Can be a new and returning student who has intermediate knowledge and playing skill, not beginner level, must have knowledge of some chord theory, sight-reading level 1 or above. Maximum class size 10.

This class is for the older advanced student, not a beginner or intermediate, has high aptitude, knowledge, and proficiency skills and would like to continue to practice increasing their ability to play fluently. In this fast-paced class, students will learn to play major scales, extended chords, theory, technics, reading, and composing music that will advance their piano aptitude.
Pre-Requisite: Class open to all who are above level two in pedagogy, a new or returning student who has advanced knowledge and playing skills, not beginner or intermediate level, must have knowledge of chord theory, circle of fifths, sight-reading level 2 or above.
Maximum class size 10.

This 8-week course will introduce adults to the fundamentals of quilting and sewing by guiding them through the process of creating a quilted tote bag and coordinating accessories. The class is designed for beginners and will cover sewing techniques, fabric selection, quilting, and assembly of various projects. Participants will gain hands-on experience using a sewing machine while developing skills in textile craftsmanship.
