Every eligible American has the right to vote, regardless of housing status. We understand that some Fulton County voters may not have a permanent address. If you are experiencing homelessness, options are available to register to vote and to update your voter registration information.

If you routinely stay in a place such as a shelter, church, or the home of a friend or relative in Fulton County:
Voter Registration Address: You may use that location as your voter registration address.
Mailing Address: For election mailing purposes only, use the Fulton County Voting Registrar’s Office as your mailing address, Fulton County Election Hub, 5600 Campbellton Fairburn Road Union City, GA 30213. Please do not use this address for non-election mail, as services are limited to election-related purposes only.

If you do not routinely stay at a location with an address or your shelter does not allow you to utilize their address as your voter registration address, in Fulton County:
Voter Registration Address: You may utilize the Fulton County Courthouse 136 Pryor Street SW Atlanta, GA 30303, as your voter registration address.
Mailing Address: You must still use the Fulton County Voting Registrar’s Office as your mailing address for election purposes only, Fulton County Election Hub, 5600 Campbellton Fairburn Road Union City, GA 30213. Please do not use this address for non-election mail, as services are limited to election-related purposes only.

If you stay at a shelter that currently serves as your permanent address, in Fulton County:
You may use the shelter’s address as both your voter registration address and mailing address for voting purposes.

GEORGIA LAW REQUIRES PHOTO IDENTIFICATION TO VOTE


If you do not have an acceptable photo ID (to see list of acceptable forms of ID please visit the Voter Registration page, you may obtain a FREE Georgia Voter ID card for voting purposes. Please visit our webpage for more information on how to receive a Georgia Voter ID Card, at no cost.
