Mechanicsville Library & Voting Open

Please be advised that from Monday, October 27, to Friday, October 31, 2025, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., several lanes along Capitol Avenue, from Capitol Square to I-20, will be closed. The Mechanicsville Library and its parking lot WILL remain open for voting and library services.

Early Voting

Early voting is now underway until Friday, November 14, for the November 18 Senate District 35 Special Election. Early voting also continues until Friday, October 31, 2025, for the November 4 General Municipal Election / Public Service Commission (PSC) Special Election.
