It's Older Americans Month and Helene Mills Field Day was held at Helene S. Mills Senior Multipurpose Facility. Hear more from Health & Fitness Program Coordinator Ciara Simone. We want to be able to keep them fit through engaging in activity. That's the theme: engaging in activity and creating friendships; fostering friendships while they're doing fitness activities. The activities are fun. They're happy, they're smiling, and they're just having a good time. It's not like reliving childhood, but it's keeping them active.
