The annual Arts Festival is being held at the H.J.C. Bowden facility. Hear more from Senior Art Instructor Kermit Ashford. You see all the great artwork our participants are doing. This includes jewelry making, card making, oil painting, acrylic painting, pottery, ceramics, and the whole gamut. Studies have shown that seniors that involve themselves in these types of programs where you're doing artwork really helps to age gracefully. Studies have shown that we keep our mental faculties the more that we exercise our brain, doing arts and crafts, and things of that nature.
