Happening in Fulton: Teens Genealogy Camp

The Teens Genealogy Camp was held to teach kids how to rap and improve public speaking. Hear more from Book Author Carole Boston Weatherford. The workshop and camp are inspired by my book "Kin Rooted in Hope". The kids were really into it. They all wrote recipe poems and the recipe is not about how to cook a particular dish, but how to have a family reunion. So it includes not only the food but some of the interpersonal dynamics that go on at family gatherings.
