Fulton County's Environmental Health Department gives an update on the West Nile Virus. Hear more from Director of Environmental Health Dr. Brandon Leftwich. We have various site locations that we frequently trap and test mosquitoes and send them off to a lab. In the past there have been confirmed cases in those locations. So my advice to people is when you're out make sure that you protect yourself. The Fulton County Board of Health has a mosquito monitoring division; with that we provide education to the community and we also provide methods on how to prevent mosquito breeding from occurring. We have a campaign called Tip and Toss and its to eliminate any kind of standing water in your yard.
