Happening in Fulton: Misdemeanor Mental Health Court Graduation

Fulton County's Misdemeanor Mental Health Court has been lifechanging since 2017. Hear more from Chief Magistrate Judge Cassandra Kirk. This is our 19th graduation for Misdemeanor Mental Health Court. It was started in in 2017. This has been a wonderful experience; it's been a wonderful ride with the Magistrate Court. We have gone from a 60-day program to a state certified 12-month program. We were the only program in the state that allowed individuals to come and get the support immediately from the jail which allowed us to have successful transitions. We have graduated over 70 people in this program since 2020, so it's just been a joy to see our participants go out and continue to blossom.
