Residents will receive important updates regarding the facility’s operations.

Fulton County District 4 Commissioner Mo Ivory is inviting residents to join her for a special Town Hall Meeting. The “Mo Knows Fulton County Animal Services” will be held virtually from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Fulton County Director of the Emergency Management & Homeland Security Agency, Joseph Barasoain, and Division Chief, Emergency Management & Homeland Security, Vernon Sawyer, will join the Commissioner to provide updates and to answer residents’ questions.

“As your District 4 Commissioner, I’m committed to making sure our residents feel heard, informed, and involved — especially when it comes to the care and treatment of animals in our community,” said Commissioner Ivory. “This town hall with Fulton County Animal Services is an important opportunity to talk openly about concerns, share ideas, and hear directly from those doing the work on the ground. Whether it’s improving shelter conditions, addressing stray animals, or supporting public safety, we’re bringing everyone to the table to find real, lasting solutions together.”
