District 5 had their Tax Assessment Town Hall in Chattahoochee Hills. Hear mean from District 5 Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington Jr. People are excited and talking about their taxes and their assessment notices. They want to know the date by which they have to file their appeal, and we have some new rules some and new laws this year. So tax assessments will look differently this year, and also you can apply for an exemption as part of your appeal process this year for the first time. Typically you can only do it through April 1st. We look forward to having more of these Tax Assessment Town Halls.
