Fulton County celebrated the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act at the Fulton County Government Center. Hear more from Your Invisible Disability Group CEO Yvette Pegues. 35 years ago, we had to climb the Capitol's steps to make everyone know that we existed and that we weren't being hidden in the back rooms. So even though 35 years later we're celebrating it, there's so much work to do. With each government change, shift administration, we have to stand up and continue to fight and make sure that everyone knows that we're here to stay and we're not going anywhere, which is actually the mantra for the 35th anniversary. What it does is it also gives us a place to belong, a place to be included, and to be successful.
