Commissioner Khadijah Abdur-Rahman Appointed to National Committees

Fulton County Commissioner Khadijah Abdur-Rahman of the “Mighty District 6” is being recognized for her appointment to the following committees of the National Association of Counties (NACo):

Arts and Culture Innovation Council
Large Urban County Caucus (LUCC)


Involvement in these committees will allow Commissioner Adbur-Rahman to work with other elected officials around the country, share her ideals and goals, and represent all of Fulton County on a national level.

As a member of the Arts and Culture Innovation Council, Commissioner Abdur-Rahman will promote the importance of the arts. As a member of the Large Urban County Caucus (LUCC), she will assist other urban county leaders to be the voice for America’s metropolitan counties before Congress and the Administration.

“County and community work is important work,” said Commissioner Abdur-Rahman. “The work that I will accomplish national with NACo is in true alignment with the goals set in the ‘Mighty 6’ District and all of Fulton County. I cannot tell you how grateful and proud I am to once again be able to serve our constituents on a national level.”
