The Public Works department hosted hearings in South Fulton and North Fulton to present proposed 2026-2027 water and sewer rates. Hear more from Public Works Deputy Director Terry Peters. We looked at all the operating expenses. We looked at the operating cost and where we needed to be with debt service and that sort of finances for the department. That is what we want to discuss with the public. We want to share the reasons behind it, share how we came up with that number, and what that money will eventually be used for. In summarizing our financial outlook into the coming years forecasting into the next two years, we come back with a recommendation of 5% per year for the next two years.
