Commissioner Khadijah Abdur-Rahman has been reappointed to two NACo committees. Hear more from District 6 Commissioner Khadijah Abdur-Rahman. I'm so excited. I have recently been reappointed to three very, very, important committees: Arts and Culture, Community Development, and also the Large Urban County Commission. It is important for Fulton County because at the national level, we're able to sit with our colleagues and shape policy, find out what are the best practices and take them back for our community. So it is a big deal for Fulton County to have not only a voice nationally, but be able to show its best practices and possibly learn from other areas that are getting it right as well.
