Commissioner Mo Ivory has been appointed to 5 NACo committees. Hear more from District 4 Commissioner Mo Ivory. I've been appointed to five NACo (National Association of County Officials) committees which are Arts and Culture Innovation Council, Healthy Counties Innovation Council, International Economic Development Innovation Council, Justice and Public Safety Steering Committee, and Large Urban County Caucus. All of those are important and I'm honored to serve in all of these areas that mean so much to me. I think my role on the committees will benefit the county because I will be able to talk to my colleagues all across the country and bring back great ideas and innovative ways that other counties across the United States are implementing things that we should probably be thinking about right here in Fulton County. So I think it's important to work on the local level but then to also know nationally what's happening so that we can adopt some of these best practices right here in Fulton County.
