Recognizing those professionals who make the mission of quality customer service possible.
Fulton County is proud to participate in National Customer Service Week. First recognized by the U.S. Congress in 1992, this international recognition of customer service professionals will take place from October 6 – 10, 2025. This week-long celebration highlights the importance of excellent customer service and acknowledges the invaluable contributions of customer service professionals.
“Our customer service professionals are the heart and the backbone of this organization,” said Fulton County Manager Dick Anderson. “Fulton County will always value the work, commitment, and unwavering service of those working with all customers.”
“Customer Service Week provides us with a dedicated opportunity to express our profound gratitude and recognize their tireless efforts in building strong customer relationships and fostering loyalty,” said Customer Service Division Director Brigitte Bailey. “Our customer service team is in constant pursuit of excellence when it comes to serving internal and external customers.”
The national theme of ‘Mission Possible’ is truly a testament to the level of service being provided in Fulton County. In recognition of Customer Service Week, Fulton County’s recognition of all professionals will include a week of celebratory activities, including pop-ups and an opportunity to win trivia game prizes.
The Annual Customer Service Legends Luncheon will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025. This invitation only event honors those employees who have been recognized throughout the year as high performing customer service professionals demonstrating exceptional service to Fulton County citizens and employees.
National Customer Service Week received an official proclamation by the U.S. Congress in 1992 to help recognize the importance of good customer service along with those committed to providing it every day. The Fulton County Board of Commissioners first recognized National Customer Service Week, which is celebrated annually the first week in October, in 2017 to demonstrate and reinforce its commitment to providing exceptional service to the citizens it serves.
In Fulton County, the Customer Service Division serves as the main information hub for Fulton County’s service offerings and contacts, researches and resolves customer complaints, assists customers who need information in a language other than English, offers communication services for the hearing impaired, and provides notary services for customers conducting official Fulton County business.
