Good Dirt by Charmaine Wilkerson was the choice for this year's annual One Book, One Read event. Hear more from Fulton County Library Executive Director Gayle Holloman. This is the fourth one (One Book One Read), and we are able to make this program public due to the sponsorship and funding by the Atlanta Fulton Public Library Foundation. It is a way for people in the community to all get together, read one book, and share it with discussion points and other interesting things and facts. It allows us to bring an author to the county to be an inspiration (we hope) and to talk about their work. We are very lucky to be able to afford some of New York Times bestselling authors and this is one of them today.
