WORKSOURCE FULTON LAUNCHES SECOND INCUMBENT WORKER TRAINING COHORT WITH COCA-COLA BOTTLING COMPANY UNITED
WorkSource Fulton, in partnership with Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, has launched its second cohort of the Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) program. This initiative continues the mission to empower Fulton County’s workforce and strengthen the local manufacturing industry.
The program, designed to enhance the skills of current employees while supporting the long-term competitiveness of employers, provides targeted training that helps workers advance in their careers while increasing productivity and innovation across organizations.
Through the IWT initiative, WorkSource Fulton has partnered with Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED’s Advanced Manufacturing Facility to provide customized training that aligns with the company’s operational goals and employee development needs. Participants gain advanced technical and leadership skills that prepare them for career growth opportunities within the company.
“We’re excited to continue building on the success of our first cohort,” says Samir Abdullahi, Director, Select Fulton. “This partnership with Coca-Cola UNITED is a model for how workforce development and industry can collaborate to create meaningful, measurable impact.”
“This second cohort demonstrates our unwavering commitment to developing a skilled, competitive workforce,” says Lucius McRunnels, Business Services Manager, WorkSource Fulton. “By investing in people and partnerships, we’re helping residents build sustainable careers while supporting the evolving needs of Fulton County’s industrial and advanced manufacturing sectors.”
