“Black Furday” Brings Free Pet Adoptions to Fulton County

All adoptions will be free November 28 – December 7, 2025.
The best time to bring a new family member home for the holidays is coming soon. Turn Black Friday into Black Furday!
From Friday, November 28, through Sunday, December 7, all adoptions from Fulton County Animal Services will be free! That goes for all dogs and cats in the shelter and those currently in foster homes.

Normally adoptions from the County animal shelter at 1251 Fulton Industrial Blvd. NW cost $85 for dogs and $65 for cats. But with all that’s included – spay/neuter, microchipping, all required vaccinations and more – it’s a $200 value.
Shelter adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
