North Fulton students learned about county government at Government Day. Hear more from District 1 Commissioner Bridget Thorne. Today we hosted Student Leadership North. It's students from all over North Fulton area, different high schools and different parts. It was just fabulous to have these young, inquisitive minds down here to learn about local government. When they step out and they become adults and they own their own houses, they'll be advocating for things, and they can advocate now as youth. We have the Fulton County Youth Commission that they can become a part of if they wanted to. So we're just trying to make them aware of government and what government does and how it affects their lives.
