Fulton County Serve Weather Alert Updates
Fulton County is closely monitoring predicted severe winter weather that may affect our community. Please find below service modifications that could affect you and your family.
FACILITY AND SERVICE MODIFICATIONS
In an effort to keep staff and vulnerable populations safe, the following service modifications are planned at this time:
- No service modifications are expected on Friday, January 23.
- All Fulton County Libraries will close at 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 24.
- Saturday Dialysis Transportation Service for Senior Services via TransDev will be suspended on Saturday, January 24; Appointments are being rescheduled wherever possible.
- All Senior Centers and Developmental Disability Centers will close on Monday, January 26.
- The Fulton County District Attorney’s Record Restrict Event originally scheduled for Saturday, January 24, has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 28.
- The Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities will offer virtual outpatient behavioral health appointments only on Monday, January 26. No in-person services will be offered that day.
- Fulton County Behavioral Health is working with Grady Health System to ensure the continued operation of the Behavioral Health Crisis Center.
- The Fulton County Animal Services facility at 1251 Fulton Industrial Blvd. NW will be closed Sunday, January 25.
FULTON ALERTS COMMUNITY NOTIFICATIONS (FALCON)
Fulton County uses the FALCON system to distribute emergency notifications to residents, businesses, and county employees.
FALCON is a telephone communication service that allows us to quickly notify citizens about emergency situations.
All residents are encouraged to review and update their information or register for the system.
