As a Georgia state senator and I belong to the Georgia Senate Taiwan Legislative Caucus already, what I know is that when you have the opportunity to connect communities, yes you do that culturally, and that's what the focus of this partnership is. But when you think about the relationship between the state and Taiwan, there's a lot of economic opportunity. There are industries that we both share that are growing industries, whether that's innovation, advanced manufacturing, or logistics. So the opportunities for us to be able to be trade partners as countries is a really extra important piece to this, and it all starts with building relationships.
