Fulton County Invests $3 Million into Arts Community in FY26

July 27, 2026
Fulton County will invest $3 million in contracts with arts nonprofits this year, reaffirming the County's commitment to supporting nonprofit arts and cultural organizations that enrich communities, expand access to the arts, and enhance quality of life throughout Fulton County.

On July 15, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved $2,857,643 in initial awards for the FY2026 Contracts for Services (CFS) Program with 200 organizations in 14 categories. An additional $142,357 is to be allocated through subsequent awards.

Administered by the Fulton County Department of Arts & Culture, the Contracts for Services Program provides general operating and project support to eligible nonprofit arts and cultural organizations, cultural institutions, colleges and universities, municipalities, and community-based organizations. The program helps strengthen the County's creative sector while increasing access to arts programming for residents across Fulton County.

"The Fulton County Board of Commissioners is proud to invest in the organizations that enrich our communities through arts and culture," said Chairman Robb Pitts. "These investments strengthen our communities, expand access to creative opportunities for residents of all ages, and reflect our continued commitment to supporting a vibrant and thriving Fulton County."

"The continued investment in the Contracts for Services Program reflects Fulton County's commitment to supporting the artists and organizations that help make our communities vibrant and culturally rich," said David Manuel, Director of Fulton County Arts & Culture.

FY2026 also marks the inaugural cycle of the Veterans Creative Arts Pool, a dedicated funding stream established under Resolution No. 21-0282 to support organizations delivering creative arts programming to Fulton County veterans and their families.
