Fulton County Board of Commissioners Hold Second Regular August Meeting
The Fulton County Board of Commissioners will hold the scheduled Second August Meeting at Fulton County Government Center’s Assembly Hall on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 10 a.m. at the Fulton County Government Center Assembly Hall. Click here to view the August 19 agenda.
The Board of Commissioners will receive operational updates from the County Manager regarding the operations of several Fulton County areas. The Board will also review a resolution involving a contract agreement regarding a partnership between the county and the Fulton DeKalb Hospital Authority. Additional meeting highlights include:
1) Proclamation recognizing “Emergency Management Appreciation Month.”
2) Proclamation recognizing “Family 2 Family 40th Anniversary Day.”
3) Proclamation recognizing “National Breastfeeding Month.”
4) Proclamation recognizing “National Council of Negro Women Appreciation Day.”
Members of the public may attend the Board of Commissioners meeting in person. The meeting will be aired live on Fulton County Government Television.

Residents have two options to participate in public comment: in person or virtually via Zoom
All virtual public comments and requests to speak in person must be submitted before the clerk sounds the start of the 10 a.m. meeting. During its January16, 2024, Special Called Meeting, the Board of Commissioners approved a change regarding submission and presentation of all written email comments.
