Happening in Fulton: Fulton County Commissioners Appointed to National Association of Counties Committees
Three Fulton County commissioners will bring local perspectives to national policy discussions through appointments to National Association of Counties committees. Fulton County voices will shape policies nationwide as part of the National Association of Counties District 1 Commissioner Bridget Thorne was recently named committees focusing on economic and workforce development, international economic development, and issues facing large urban counties like Fulton. District 6 Commission Khadijah Abdur-Rahman was reappointed to committees tackling economic and workforce development, arts and culture innovation, and the large urban county caucus. District 5 Commissioner Marvin Arrington Jr. will work alongside county leaders on law enforcement, crime prevention, courts, homeland security, and emergency management.
