Happening in Fulton: FCCU Tours Big Creek Water Treatment Plant
Fulton County Citizens University explored the Big Creek Water Treatment Plant. Hear more from Public Works Director David Clark. I introduced them to all of Public Works' functions including our drinking water, our wastewater treatments, the airports, and the little bit of transportation we do in the unincorporated area around the airport. We love the opportunity to really showcase what we do on a day-to-day basis. We've always felt that if people understand where the water comes from, where the water goes, they really take a much greater ownership in the environmental importance of conserving water, using water appropriately, and making sure that we return the water back to the Chattahoochee not only for recreational purposes but for our downstream neighbors.
