Notice of Property Tax Increase
The Fulton County Board of Commissioners has tentatively adopted a 2026 millage rate which will require an increase in property taxes by 0.54 percent.
All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearing on this tax increase to be held at the Government Center Assembly Hall, 141 Pryor Street, Atlanta, GA 30303 at special called public meetings on September 30, 2026, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., and via video conferencing accessible via the Fulton County website at www.fultoncountyga.gov, or accessible via Zoom at the following web addresses on

This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 8.87 mills, an increase of 0.048 mills. Without this tentative tax increase, the millage rate will be no more than 8.822 mills. The proposed tax increase for a home with a fair market value of $625,000 is approximately $10.56, and the proposed tax increase for a non-homestead property with a fair market value of $437,500 is approximately $8.40.
