Fulton County Service Modifications for World Cup

  • No Fulton county facilities are expected to close due to the World Cup. Services to residents will continue.
  • Increased security presence will be in effect in Fulton County facilities and other areas downtown.
  • From June 8 through July 17, the Magistrate Court’s Landlord/Tenant, Garnishment and Small Claims hearings will be held at the South Fulton Service Center (5600 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park, GA 30349). Small Claims Hearings will take place at the North Fulton Service Center (7741 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, GA 30350)
  • Probate Court downtown offices at 141 Pryor will be closed on match days. Services will remain open at Probate Court’s North and South Service Center offices.
    • During the sporting event, all licensing services, including marriage licenses and weapons carry licenses, will be provided exclusively at our North and South Annex locations.
    • During the sporting event, guardianship, estate, and mental health services will be available exclusively at our downtown location.
    • Free group wedding ceremonies will continue during FIFA at our annex locations:
      • North Annex: 11 a.m.
      • South Annex: 3 p.m.
    • Appointments for all Probate Court services will be suspended during this sporting event. Services will be provided on a walk-in basis only and handled first come, first served.
    • Customers are strongly encouraged to utilize mail and e-filing options whenever possible in lieu of in-person visits.
    • Customers are also encouraged to visit our North and South Annex locations for services to help reduce congestion and improve access during the tournament.
       
  • Courts will not conduct jury selection on Match Days. Any schedule changes for individual cases or programs will be communicated to affected parties directly.
  • State Court’s Expedited Accusation and State All Purpose Calendars will be conducted virtually from June 11 to July 31. This will also apply to the Traffic Violations Bureau and Citation Only Division Calendars for the stated time periods.
