Fulton County joins communities around the country in celebrating Drinking Water Week, May 5 – 11. The annual observance led by the American Water Works Association serves to highlight the importance of safe drinking water and recognize the tireless efforts of water professionals who keep it flowing around the clock in our communities.
Public Works is celebrating this year’s Drinking Water Week with the following:
- Thursday, May 9 - Drinking Water Treatment Plant Tour, 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Tom Lowe Atlanta-Fulton County Water Treatment Plant, 9750 Spruill Road, Alpharetta, GA 30022.
