The Fulton County Board of Commissioners will hold the scheduled Second August Meeting at Fulton County Government Center’s Assembly Hall, 141 Pryor Street, NW, Atlanta, GA 30303on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 10 a.m. The agenda for this meeting is available online at https://bit.ly/BOCmeeting8202025

The Board of Commissioners will receive updates from the County Manager and several Fulton County departments including Public Works, Information Technology, and Finance. Other agenda highlights include:

Presentation and approval to proceed with the planning of Option 3, which includes (1) the construction of a Special Purpose Building to serve vulnerable populations and offset the future need for outsourcing of inmates to out-of-County jail facilities, and (2) renovations at the Rice Street Main Jail.
A proclamation recognizing Atlanta Fulton County Emergency Management Agency Appreciation Day.

Members of the public may attend the Board of Commissioners meeting in person. The meeting will be aired live on Fulton County Government Television.

Public Comments
Residents have two options to participate in public comment: in person or virtually via Zoom

All virtual public comments and requests to speak in person must be submitted before the clerk sounds the start of the 10 a.m. meeting. During its January 16, 2024, Special Called Meeting, the Board of Commissioners approved a change regarding submission and presentation of all written email comments.
