With over 20 years progressive experience as a health and human services executive, Pamela Roshell is Chief Operating Officer for Fulton County Government, where she provides operational leadership and strategy with a team of 6 departments, a $300+M budget and over 500+ staff and contractors. Prior to joining Fulton County, Dr. Roshell served as Regional Director for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. As an Obama Administration Presidential Appointee, Dr. Roshell provided executive leadership as the primary representative in eight southeastern states as well as six federally recognized tribal governments and other external partners in the Region, advancing the Administration’s priorities to enhance the health and well-being of Americans and strengthening the nation’s health and human services infrastructure and workforce. Dr. Roshell is a graduate of Columbia College and received a Master of social work degree with a specialty in administration from the University of South Carolina. She has built on that specialty with the completion of a PhD in social policy analysis, planning and administration from Clark Atlanta University.
